Llandudno is justifiably known as the “Queen of the Welsh Resorts” – the premier resort of North Wales with a beautiful bay nestling between the headlands of the ‘Great and Little Ormes’ and backed by the grandeur of Snowdonia. We will be staying at The St Kilda Hotel, which is situated in Llandudno’s most Central Seafront position. All within easy reach of the Hotel are shops, amusements, shows and the pier. The Hotel offers 60 well-equipped rooms with a lift to all floors, traditional British home-cooking, the highest standards of housekeeping throughout the hotel, entertainment and a sea view Bar.

Itinerary

Sat Leaving Cornwall early morning we travel via Exeter and the motorways, heading north to Llandudno arriving at our Hotel late afternoon.

Sun Day of leisure to enjoy your resort, maybe ride on the tram up the Great Orme for spectacular views across the bay.

Mon A trip today to the beautiful City of Chester where there will be time for you to either do some shopping or enjoy a visit to the 900 year old Cathedral. On our way back to Llandudno we visit the famous marble church in Bodelwyddan, formally St Margaret’s Church.

Tue After breakfast today we will take a leisurely drive through the Snowdonia National Park visiting Betws-y-Coed Swallow Falls and the Pass of Lanberris. You will have time to either take a trip up to the summit or a leisurely ride on the Lake Railway (admission not included) before we make our way back to Llandudno in time for our evening meal.

Wed A morning trip to The Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn in Welsh) which is situated off the North West Coast of Wales near the beautiful Snowdonia mountain range. Anglesey also has the village with the longest place name in Britain: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. The name, when translated into English, means “The church of St. Mary in a hollow of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and near St. Tysilio’s church by the red cave”. The afternoon will be free for you to get those last minute souvenirs.

Thu After an early breakfast we head for Birkenhead where we cross the Mersey by road bridge to the City of Liverpool. You will have free time in the Albert Dock’s complex. In the afternoon we will meet a local guide for a Beatles tour in and around Liverpool. NOT TO BE MISSED!

Fri Day of leisure to enjoy your resort.
