Bournemouth, set on the Jurrasic Coast, is a highly popular holiday destination with seven miles of golden beaches, peaceful and impressive gardens, excellent shopping and all year round entertainment. This tour offers a wonderful range of excursions as well as free time to enjoy the resort.
The Belvedere Hotel is located in the centre of town just a few minutes walk from shops, beaches and entertainment. All rooms have flat screen TV’s, telephone, iron, hairdryer and welcome tray. The hotel has a lift to all floors and an indoor pool.
Itinerary
Monday We depart Cornwall during the morning and travel to Bournemouth arriving at our hotel later in the afternoon. We will have a stop for lunch en route.
Tuesday Salisbury is home to the most popular market in the area and today is market day! You can wander the traditional stalls or enjoy the other attractions that this small but lovely city has to offer.
Wednesday Your day will be free to enjoy Bournemouth and it’s many delightful attractions. Visit the pier, the Pavillion Theatre, stroll along the beach or around the town.
Thursday Today will be a beautiful scenic day tour through the New Forest. We will enjoy free time in the lovely town of Lyndhurst as well as seeing some of the pretty villages.
Friday Our morning will begin with a visit to Compton Acres. This historic garden is one of the finest in the UK and has a late Victorian mixed style design with seven distinct gardens to wander around and enjoy, including the Italian Garden and the Japanese Garden. In the afternoon we will travel to the natural harbour town of Poole.
Saturday Sadly it’s time to say goodbye to The Belvedere Hotel and make our way back to Cornwall arriving home early evening.
