The enchanting Hampton Court Palace and surrounding parkland provide an idyllic setting for the world’s largest annual flower show. At this very popular gardening event an exciting range of flowers, plants and gardening accessories are featured, giving you the opportunity to both browse and buy.
We will be staying at the 4 Star Holiday Inn Heathrow Hotel which offers high quality rooms with excellent facilities. A lift serves all floors.
Itinerary
Friday We depart early in the morning and travel to Stourhead House and Gardens. Here the secrets of the Hoare family history are revealed as we discover the unique Regency library, collections of Chippendale furniture and inspirational paintings. The jewel in the Stourhead crown has to be the world-famous 18th-century landscape garden. A magnificent lake shimmering with reflections of classical temples, mystical grottoes and rare and exotic trees. Later in the day we travel onto our hotel for dinner, bed and breakfast.
Saturday Following breakfast we make our way to enjoy a full day out at Hampton Court. We will depart the show at approximately 4pm for the return journey to Cornwall.
