MANCHESTER SHIP CANAL

This wonderfully varied area was once the industrial metropolis of Britain and as the twentieth century has brought about its decline in manufacturing so the city and its greater surroundings have evolved into a historical, fascinating and scenic attraction for many tourists. The highlight of our tour will undoubtedly be the 36 mile cruise on the Manchester Ship Canal.

We will stay at the three star Mercure Hotel Bolton. All rooms are of an excellent standard and have television, telephone & tea/coffee facilities. The hotel has an indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and lift.
