The famous Blackpool Illuminations are an awesome spectacle that delight young and old alike. Whilst we are away we have a full day in the charming city of Chester. Following dinner one evening your coach will take you on a “Tour of the lights”.
We will be returning to the family run Elgin Hotel which offers centrally heated rooms with tasteful decor, tea/coffee making facilities and televisions. A lift serves all floors and the hotel has entertainment each evening.
Itinerary
Monday We depart Cornwall early in the morning and travel to Blackpool arriving with ample time to settle in before dinner.
Tuesday A morning excursion to Fleetwood Market one of the oldest in Lancashire, returning via Cleveleys one of Wyres busiest shopping areas. Your afternoon will be at leisure in Blackpool.
Wednesday A full day in the beautiful city of Chester. This historic walled city is a delightful mix of architecture, boutiques and riverside delights. You will have time to explore on foot or perhaps hop onto a tour bus.
Thursday A free day in Blackpool to visit The Winter Gardens, dance the afternoon away in The Tower Ball Room, visit The Pleasure Beach or take in a show at the Grand Theatre.
Friday Following a good breakfast we depart Blackpool for our return journey to Cornwall arriving home mid evening.
