Torquay is better known as the English Riviera and with its twenty two miles of coastline, glorious beaches and palm trees it is easy to see why. There is an exotic and somewhat Mediterranean atmosphere in this very popular resort.
The Ashley Court Hotel is a friendly family run hotel situated within easy walking distance of the sea front, town centre and theatre. All rooms are comfortably furnished and there is a lift in the hotel. Entertainment is offered each evening.
Itinerary
Sunday We depart during the morning and travel to Torquay with a lunch stop on the way. We will arrive at Torquay with ample time to settle in before dinner.
Monday A morning excursion to the lovely fishing port of Brixham with an afternoon at leisure in Torquay to relax on the sea front or maybe take a boat trip out in the bay.
Tuesday Following breakfast we have a full day excursion along the coast. We visit Babbacombe, Teignmouth that lies along a stretch of red sandstone coast and the unspoilt estuary of the river Teign and Dawlish a small town and seaside resort on the east coast.
Wednesday Today will be free for you to explore Torquay and its wealth of attractions.
Thursday Totnes and Dartmouth will be our ports of call today. Whilst in these riverside towns you can enjoy a variety of activities. You can take a river cruise, enjoy a steam train ride or sit on the riverside and enjoy the marina life.
Friday After a good breakfast we make our return journey to Cornwall and we will make a stop en-route giving you the opportunity to obtain lunch. We will arrive home late in the afternoon.
