NORFOLK COASTS & SEAL COLONIES

Norfolk is a county of many facets which delight visitors time and time again. On this new tour we explore some unique attractions and discover the amazing natural beauty of the wonderful east coast.

The three star standard Brook Hotel sits on the outskirts of Norwich. All bedrooms have television, telephone, hairdryer and hot drink facilities. A warm welcome is always assured for our guests.

Itinerary

Sunday We travel to Norfolk arriving late afternoon at Brook Hotel where you will have tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival.

Monday After breakfast we visit Southwold, the town that time forgot. Stroll down the ancient high street and watch the world go by. Later we ride along the coast to Lowestoft and take a step back in time with a visit to The East Anglia Transport Museum where you can ride on the transport of yesteryear.

Tuesday We begin with a drive through rural Norfolk and break for morning coffee in Holt and then continue onto the coastal village of Blakeney, famous for its nature reserve. Here we have a one hour cruise to Blakeney Point to see the year round extensive seal colonies. An insightful commentary is provided. Later we take in some of the pretty towns and villages of North Norfolk including Wells-next-the-Sea and Little Walsingham. In the afternoon we visit Norfolk Lavender where you’ll enjoy seeing the world famous lavender gardens and National Lavender Collection.

Wednesday Today begins with a visit to the traditional resort of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk’s best loved holiday destination. Later we travel to Horning where we join the Mississippi Paddle Steamer for a delightful sail around the Broads.

Thursday Our day will be free to enjoy the magnificent city of Norwich. This is the most complete medieval city in the UK and is home to a wealth of pretty cobbled streets, architectural delights and riverside walks.

Friday After breakfast we leave and begin our homeward journey.
