Itinerary

Saturday Leaving Cornwall in the morning we travel to the Bristol area where we enjoy a leisurely lunch break. In the afternoon we continue on to our hotel in time to settle in before dinner.

Sunday Today we spend the whole day at the Severn Valley Railway for the 1940’s event. This popular steam railway runs between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth taking in the breathtaking scenery following the River Severn. This weekend sees the arrival of 1940’s characters, a full size replica spitfire, a 1940’s family and historic vehicles.

Monday This morning we visit Cadbury World and enjoy a fascinating guided coach tour of Bournville to discover the Cadbury brothers’ vision of a ‘Factory in a Garden’ before taking in a guided tour of the Cadbury World exhibition. There will be time for lunch before we make our return journey to Cornwall.
