A taste of the festive season on the stunning Isle of Wight.  With its relaxed pace of life and pleasant mix of stunning coastline this treasure trove of history and beauty is a delight to explore.  We take in the royal holiday home of Queen Victoria and enjoy a taste of island life whilst enjoying an early Christmas. 

The three star standard Royal Esplanade Hotel is a beautiful Victorian building on the Esplanade.

Monday We travel from Cornwall to Hampshire and board the ferry for the Isle of Wight.

Tuesday A day at leisure in Ryde to stroll along the beach, enjoy the local attractions or explore the island independently. We return to our hotel for another evening of live entertainment.   

Wednesday Following in the footsteps of royalty with a visit to Osborne House, the palatial holiday home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. This beautiful spot offers an intimate glimpse of royal family life. We also include a visit to the beautiful church at Whippingham. This evening is Christmas dinner followed by live entertainment.                                              

Thursday We travel across the island today and visit the Needles Rocks and the famous coloured sands. After lunch we visit the historic port town of Yarmouth. 

Friday After breakfast we take the ferry back to the mainland and after a break for lunch we complete the journey to Cornwall.
