For this short Winter break to Torquay we will be staying at the Inglewood Hotel, centrally located, all well appointed rooms are en-suite, upper rooms are served with a lift. On arrival you will be welcomed with a sherry reception, entertainment every evening and a party night on Sunday. The Inglewood offers superb food and hospitality a firm favourite with many of our customers.
Itinerary
Friday Departing Cornwall during the morning we will travel to Torquay arriving early in the afternoon. You will have time to settle in and freshen up before a sherry reception followed by evening dinner and a night of entertainment including bingo and dancing.
Saturday Today we will have an excursion up the coast via Teignmouth to the city of Exeter. You will have some time at leisure to visit the magnificent Cathedral or recently regenerated Quayside with its antique and craft shops.
Sunday A morning at leisure in the very popular resort followed by an afternoon excursion to the adjoining fishing port of Brixham. We return to our hotel in ample time for evening dinner and to prepare for the “Party Night”.
Monday After a good breakfast we depart Torquay for the return journey travelling via Mortonhamstead and across scenic Dartmoor, stopping for lunch on the way (optional). After lunch we continue via the Old Market Town of Tavistock arriving home early evening.
