The lovely town of Bournemouth boasts sun, sand and more sunshine than most of England. Its extensive parks, clean beaches and rich maritime heritage make it the perfect place for a summer holiday. Whilst here we explore the surrounding counties and some of their wonderful attractions.
Itinerary
Beautiful Bournemouth Itinerary
Monday Leaving Cornwall in the morning we make our way along the south coast to Bournemouth. A leisurely lunch break will be enjoyed on the way.
Tuesday After breakfast our coach will take us into the New Forest National Park for a visit to Beaulieu. This amazing attraction is home to the Palace House, the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu Abbey and wonderful gardens. There is plenty to see and enjoy.
Wednesday Today is free to explore Bournemouth with its lovely town, seafront and gardens. Enjoy the many attractions in the traditional seaside town or take advantage of the great location and facilities of our hotel.
Thursday Poole will be our first destination. You will have free time to see the Old Town and busy harbour before we make our way via the Sandbanks ferry to the Isle of Purbeck. There will be time for lunch in Swanage before joining the Swanage Railway for a nostalgic steam train ride to Norden and return.
Friday We leave our hotel and travel along the coast to the pretty harbourside resort of Weymouth. There will be time to explore and have an early lunch before we return to Cornwall.
