As the festive season approaches, join us for a traditional Turkey and Tinsel break in this vibrant town. As well as a warm and cosy stay with live evening entertainment, cabaret and festive treats, we also enjoy the ongoing famous illumination displays. Our carefully selected excursions include time at the Manchester Christmas Market and a visit to the Lake District.
Itinerary
Blackpool Turkey and Tinsel Itinerary
Monday We depart in the morning and travel to Blackpool.
Tuesday Today we head to the peaceful Lake District and enjoy time on the shores of Lake Windermere in the pretty town of Bowness. Take a cruise or just enjoy the wonderful views. In the afternoon we travel to Kendal, the town famous for its mint cake.
Wednesday Our morning is free to enjoy Blackpool with its long coastline, wonderful attractions and breath-taking festive village. In the afternoon our hotel hosts a cabaret afternoon with tea and mince pies. After dinner our coach will take us on a tour of the illuminations.
Thursday This morning we head for the vibrant city of Manchester where the iconic Christmas market offers a wonderfully festive experience. Over two hundred stalls adorn nine locations in the city offering seasonal treats, mulled wine and a real festive atmosphere. For anyone who wants to visit the Lowry or the Imperial War Museum, our coach will also drop off at Salford Quays.
Friday After breakfast we leave Blackpool and make the journey back to Cornwall.
