The lovely town of Bournemouth boasts sun, sand and more sunshine than most of England. It also makes the perfect base to enjoy the wonderful New Forest and the premier attraction of Beaulieu with its famous Abbey and excellent motor museum.
Itinerary
Bournemouth & Beaulieu Itinerary
Sunday Departing Cornwall in the morning we travel to Bournemouth and arrive at our hotel in the afternoon to a welcome hot drink.
Monday After breakfast our coach will take us to Poole where we enjoy a two hour cruise to see Old Harry, Swanage Bay and the far end of the glorious Jurassic Coast. In the afternoon we visit the glorious Compton Acres Gardens. With over ten acres of gardens, Compton Acres is home to a magnificent collection of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants.
Tuesday Salisbury will be our first destination and it is market day in one of Britain’s finest riverside cities. After lunch, we make our way back through the New Forest and enjoy a break at the popular town of Lyndhurst.
Wednesday Today will be at leisure. Enjoy the beaches, gardens and excellent town centre or take a boat trip along Dorset’s historic Jurassic Coast.
Thursday After breakfast our coach will take us into the New Forest National Park for a visit to Beaulieu. This amazing attraction is home to the Palace House, the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu Abbey and wonderful gardens. There is plenty to see and enjoy.
Friday We leave our hotel and travel along the coast to the pretty harbourside resort of Weymouth. There will be time to explore and have an early lunch before we return to Cornwall.
