Itinerary
Bournemouth Break Itinerary
Monday Departing in the morning we travel to Bournemouth enjoying a break for lunch on the way. On arrival we enjoy a welcome hot drink.
Tuesday Today we travel through the New Forest to the lovely city of Salisbury. Our day begins with a guided tour of the beautiful cathedral. See Britain’s tallest spire, largest close and cloisters, the world’s oldest clock and the best preserved original 1215 Magna Carta. We enjoy morning coffee and cake in the refectory restaurant before free time to explore the medieval city.
Wednesday A full day at leisure to enjoy the town and coast of Bournemouth. Stroll along the pier, enjoy the Victorian architecture or perhaps take advantage of the hotel facilities.
Thursday Our morning begins with a visit to Dorchester, a historic county town famed for its links with the life of Thomas Hardy. Later we visit the old town of Poole sitting on the attractive harbour which holds the title of largest in Europe.
Friday After breakfast we leave Bournemouth and begin our journey home to Cornwall. We enjoy a lunch break in the pretty town of Sidmouth enroute.
