Brighton & Bluebell Railway Itinerary
Sunday We depart Cornwall in the morning and travel to East Sussex arriving in time to settle in before dinner. Sit back and enjoy the peaceful journey.
Monday Today we enjoy a ride on the Bluebell Railway, the UK’s first preserved standard gauge passenger railway. The route takes us through beautiful Sussex countryside from Sheffield Park Station to Kingscote Station and back. During the day we also visit the pretty town of Lewes which has a signiﬁcant history stretching back to Saxon times
Tuesday Today is free to explore the colourful vibrant town of Brighton. You could see the town and coastline from above on the i360, stroll around the bohemian Lanes or enjoy time on the colourful pier.
Wednesday We travel along the coast to Newhaven and discover the hidden secrets of Newhaven Fort. Cloaked in mystery and protected by its impressive ramparts, the fort has been keeping secrets for over a century. Later we visit Eastbourne a popular Victorian beach resort.
Thursday After breakfast we begin the journey back to Cornwall arriving home during the evening.
