A short break offering a feast for the taste buds as well as the eyes. We stay at the hotel of the original Pudding Club and have a true sweet foodie experience here. We also enjoy the lovely Cotswold countryside and a visit to Cadbury World, once a ‘Factory in a Garden’, now an iconic household name.
Itinerary
Cadbury & Pudding World Itinerary
Sunday We depart Cornwall in the morning and travel to the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. We have an enjoyable visit to the quaint town of Malmesbury. The Cotswolds town has a reputation for fine food and there are an array of dining opportunities and delis to choose from. Later we travel through beautiful countryside to Chipping Campden where we settle into our hotel.
Monday In the morning we visit Stratford-upon-Avon. This medieval market town is the sixteenth century birthplace of William Shakespeare. Later we visit Cadbury World to discover the magic behind the brand. There are exhibitions, demonstrations and a 4D cinema to see before we enjoy a light afternoon tea. Our visit ends with a walking tour of Bourneville taking in the history of Cadbury and its Quaker ethics. This evening we have our famous Pudding Club dinner where our main course will be followed by a sweet feast buffet of three delicious pudding creations.
Tuesday This morning we leave our hotel and take a scenic ride through the beautiful Cotswolds, breaking for morning coffee in the Royal town of Tetbury. We then travel to Cheddar Gorge village where there will be time for lunch before we complete the journey home.
