A short city break to enjoy the Welsh capital at this festive time as Cardiff is transformed into a ‘Christmas city’ with colourful bedecked stalls, seasonal treats and a wonderfully festive atmosphere. Shop for unique gifts and enjoy the beautiful city as well as enjoying time for yet more shopping at the fabulous Cribbs Causeway.
Itinerary
Cardiff Christmas Market Itinerary
Sunday We depart in the morning and travel to Cribbs Causeway where there will be time for a late lunch and shopping. Over a hundred and fifty stores are located in the mall which is not only beautifully decorated for the season, but also boasts the largest skating rink in the south west. Later in the afternoon we make our way to Cardiff. Here we check into our hotel in time to enjoy dinner.
Monday After breakfast we have time to enjoy the Cardiff Christmas Market. Beautifully decorated stalls line the streets with a stunning array of artisan seasonal creations ranging from delicious food delicacies to hand-crafted gifts. The market fills the historic centre of Cardiff and gives easy access to other attractions such as the imposing Castle and beautiful Cathedral. In the afternoon we leave Cardiff and make the journey home to Cornwall.
