Cardigan Cosy Break Itinerary
Monday Leaving Cornwall in the morning, we travel to Wales enjoying breaks on the way. There will be a welcome hot drink served on arrival.
Tuesday We begin our day with time in the colourful seaside town of Tenby, with old town walls, quirky side streets and a lovely harbour. Tenby is considered the gem of South West Wales. After time for lunch we travel to nearby Pembroke for a visit to the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre. Here we can explore the maritime, military and social history of Wales’ only Royal Dockyard.
Wednesday Our coach takes us to the charming city of St Davids, the smallest city in Britain which has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries. There will be time to visit the Cathedral, browse the city and have lunch before we return to enjoy the latter part of our afternoon at leisure in our hotel.
Thursday Today begins with a visit to the historic market town of Carmarthen which sits on the banks of the River Tywi. We return to our hotel for lunch and this afternoon we enjoy a short visit to the nearby heritage town of Cardigan.
Friday After breakfast we leave Wales and travel back to Cornwall arriving home in the evening.
