Itinerary
Chatsworth & Peaks Itinerary
Thursday We depart in the morning and travel to Derbyshire, arriving late afternoon at our hotel where a hot drink awaits us.
Friday Our day will be spent at Chatsworth, the jewel in the crown of the Peak District. Home to the Cavendish family since the 16th Century, Chatsworth House is a magnificent English country house set in over a thousand acres of parkland with stunning formal gardens, a farmyard and gift shops.
Saturday Today we discover the Peak District National Park which is a treasure trove of different sights and magical natural wonders. During our tour we include a visit to Bakewell and the spa town of Buxton.
Sunday The superb National Tramway Museum at Crich will delight us today where its authentic village scene transports us back in time. Cobbled streets, nostalgic trams and period feature tea rooms are just a few of the attractions on offer. Later in the day we visit the Denby Pottery Village, home to the largest collection of Denby stoneware in the world.
Monday After breakfast we leave our hotel and make the journey home to Cornwall.
