Christmas at Blenheim Description

This year the breathtaking rooms of Blenheim Palace will be transformed into the fairytale of Cinderella. It promises to be an immersive glittering wonderland, complete with storybook installations and a pumpkin carriage. Our popular tour also takes in the beautiful city of Oxford, the Royal town of Windsor and the atmospheric Winchester Christmas Market.    

Christmas at Blenheim Itinerary

Thursday Departing from Cornwall in the morning we make our way to High Wycombe breaking for a leisurely lunch en route. We enjoy a welcome hot drink on arrival at our hotel.

Friday This morning we visit the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’, Oxford. This beautiful city is full of stunning architecture, history and culture. In the afternoon we make our way to Blenheim Palace and follow Cinderella’s story through state rooms sprinkled with Christmas magic. After this heartwarming experience we wrap up and head outside to follow the magical, illuminated outdoor light trail, a multitude of glowing lights, seasonal sounds and festive fun. There will even be a Christmas Market in the Great Court with pretty chalets selling tempting treats and gifts.      

Saturday Our coach will take us to the stylish riverside town of Henley-on-Thames where there will be time for morning coffee and to browse the boutiques before heading for the Royal town of Windsor. Here there will be time to visit the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, Windsor Castle. Stroll along the banks of the Thames or discover Windsor Great Park.

Sunday We leave our hotel and make our way to the lovely city of Winchester for one of the prettiest Christmas Markets. A unique location with handpicked stalls and a friendly bustling atmosphere gives an authentic Christmas experience. In the afternoon we make our way back to Cornwall.
