London’s most enchanting festive light trail returns to Kew Gardens. The iconic event transforms the stunning botanical world with light, music and enchantment. Gardens, glasshouses and fountains are illuminated in vibrant hues through an extraordinary array of new light displays. We also include time in Covent Garden, with its colourful atmosphere, historic charm meets modern energy.

Saturday We travel from Cornwall to London taking a break en-route at the Swindon Designer Outlet housed in the restored Grade II Listed buildings of the Great Western Railway Works. Later we continue our journey and arrive at the Holiday Inn Reading South before dinner.

Sunday After breakfast we travel into London and enjoy the festive atmosphere, charm and boutiques of Covent Garden. Set in the heart of the West End it is a must-see for anyone who enjoys shopping, theatre, history or culture. Later in the afternoon we travel to the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew for Christmas at Kew, a magical light trail across the gardens. This perfect festive evening event allows us to take an enchanting journey into a glittering wonderland. Expect unforgettable larger-than-life light installations, shimmering tunnels of colour and immersive soundscapes. There is also a traditional fairground and a festive selection of street food offerings. 

Monday This morning we head to the spa town of Bath, the original wellbeing destination. The attractive sandstone city is home to some of the finest independent shops in Britain. There will be time for lunch before we return to Cornwall.
