Bournemouth is always a popular holiday destination and is renowned for its beautiful beaches and year round entertainment. At this special time of year the town dons its facade of twinkling lights and offers a festive atmosphere with a continental touch from its German style Christmas Market.
Itinerary
Christmas In Bournemouth Itinerary
Friday – We travel from Cornwall to Dorset enjoying a lunch break en-route and arriving at our hotel during the afternoon to a warm welcome, mulled wine and mince pies.
Saturday – Christmas Eve: This morning we have an excursion to nearby Poole with its lovely natural harbour. Later we have time for lunch in Bournemouth before we return to our hotel for a Dorset cream tea. After dinner there will be in-house entertainment and if you venture out to a local midnight mass, festive refreshments will be served on your return.
Sunday – Christmas Day: Merry Christmas! After a leisurely Bucks Fizz breakfast, spend the morning enjoying the stunning views or take a walk along the seafront to work. We then enjoy a Cranberry Fizz before our traditional Christmas lunch. The Queen’s Speech will then be shown whilst we indulge in an afternoon tea. A light buffet will be served this evening followed by more entertainment.
Monday – Boxing Day: A morning trip across the beautiful New Forest and onto the city of Salisbury. There will be time to look around and have lunch before we return to our hotel in the afternoon for tea and cake. Dinner this evening will be followed by musical entertainment and dancing.
Tuesday – We begin our journey, enjoying a break for lunch and arriving home later in the afternoon.
