Holme Lacy Festival 70s Break Description
Set in twenty acres of gardens, Holme Lacy is one of Herefordshire’s treasures and this impressive hotel has a range of activities by day and a ‘Festival 70’s’ package of evening entertainment. Live entertainers include CHILD with their chart hits and covers from 70s, Absolute Benson and a DJ every night. We enjoy excursions to discover Gloucestershire and the Wye Valley.
Itinerary
Holme Lacy Festival 70s Break Itinerary
Monday Departing from Cornwall in the morning, we travel to Holme Lacy arriving in time to settle in before dinner. This will be followed by our first evening of entertainment.
Tuesday Our coach will take us on a scenic tour of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. During our day we visit the lovely town of Ross-on-Wye with its pretty buildings and mock-Gothic walls. We also have time to enjoy the historic town of Monmouth.
Wednesday A free day to discover our surroundings and take part in the wide range of daytime activities available to Warner guests. Soak up the beautiful features of the historic house and enjoy the on-site facilities.
Thursday We join our coach and head for the regenerated dockside city of Gloucester where we have time in the historic dockside area. There will be time to enjoy the Victorian dock buildings, designer outlet shops, cosy cafes or fascinating museums. Later we visit Hereford, a historic Cathedral city with a fascinating past and a busy present. Its origins lie in the 7th century and its strategic site on the Wye.
Friday After breakfast we sadly leave the peaceful elegance of our hotel and make our way to the lovely and compact city of Cardiff where the city centre is transformed with its famous Christmas Market. In the afternoon we return to Cornwall.
