We return to the Longleat Estate to enjoy yet another year of the spectacular Festival of Light. Once again, we embark on an extraordinary adventure and this year the event presents Legendary Worlds. Hundreds of illuminated characters and scenes will transform the property into a winter wonderland and a truly magical world of light and colour.
Itinerary
Longleat Festival of Light Itinerary
Wednesday We travel from Cornwall to Somerset enjoying a break for lunch at the festively filled Cadbury Garden Centre at Congresbury. Later we continue to our hotel where we enjoy a welcome hot drink and cookie.
Thursday Our coach will take us to Longleat for the magical Festival of Light. We step into a wonderful and spectacular world, a magical journey of twinkling lights and festive sounds. This Christmas event is like no other and promises joy and cheer aplenty with a range of delights to make your visit extra special. There will also be a trip through the safari, a house tour, time to enjoy the animal kingdom, and as the evening draws in, the iconic twenty metre Enchanted Christmas Tree will come to life! We leave at 6.30pm to return to our hotel for a late dinner.
Friday After a leisurely start to the day we make our way to the Designer Outlet Swindon, this excellent outlet is housed in the Grade II listed buildings of the Great Western Railway Works. In the afternoon we make the return journey to Cornwall.
