An early start to our festive season with a tour combining the imposing scenery of North Wales with the timeless appeal of the vibrant city of Chester. With a festive programme of entertainment and a warm Welsh welcome, this tour promises to be a great way to begin your Christmas celebrations and discover this beautiful area.
Itinerary
North Wales Turkey and Tinsel Itinerary
Monday We depart in the morning and travel to Wales. A great festive welcome awaits with tea and mince pies served on arrival.
Tuesday This morning we visit the small Welsh city of St Asaph where the beautiful Cathedral is the true ‘Hidden Gem’. Whilst in the area we have a visit to the Tweedmill, an extensive shopping experience ranging from popular brands to local produce. The latter part of our afternoon will be free in the town of Mold.
Wednesday A very scenic day today as we venture into the Snowdonia National Park, with a visit to the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed. We break for morning coffee before heading to the coast for time in the popular resort of Llandudno. Enjoy views of the Great Orme, stroll along the lovely promenade or enjoy the town with its Victorian architecture.
Thursday Today we travel to the historic city of Chester where the magical Christmas Market lights up the city. Set against the stunning backdrop of Chester’s historic town hall and Cathedral, the market promises a magical experience with festive traders offering handmade, unique and tasty treats. There will be time to enjoy the seasonal atmosphere, stroll the city walls or browse the unique ‘Rows’ of two-tiered shops.
Friday After breakfast we leave Wales and make the homeward journey to Cornwall.
