There can be no better start to the pre Christmas celebrations than enjoying the charm of a cosy Turkey and Tinsel holiday set on the coast of the English Riviera. We immerse ourselves in the joy of the season with a specially crafted holiday menu, festive decorations and a range of delightful excursions.
Itinerary
Paignton Turkey and Tinsel Itinerary
Friday Leaving Cornwall at a leisurely time in the morning, we head for Paignton, enjoying a break for lunch on the way. We arrive at our hotel later in the afternoon to a welcome hot drink and mince pie then we settle in before dinner followed by live entertainment.
Saturday Our coach will take us to the harbour town of Brixham where the ‘Lanterns, Lights and Luminations’ festival sees the harbour town come alive with festive markets, street food and entertainment. Enjoy the atmosphere and take in the festive celebration before returning to Paignton for time at leisure. Later in the afternoon our hotel will offer refreshments, a sweet treat and quiz. A traditional Christmas dinner will be followed by live entertainment.
Sunday This morning we travel along the red sandstone coast via Dawlish and Teignmouth, to Exmouth. Here we have a relaxing, festive river cruise complete with mulled wine and mince pie. There will then be time for lunch in the charming town of Exmouth before returning to our hotel in the afternoon for Happy Hour. Later this evening the hotel will serve a Queens cocktail.
Monday We leave our hotel this morning and make our way to Exeter where the annual Christmas market adorns the beautiful Cathedral grounds. There will be time to have lunch, do a spot of Christmas shopping or visit the cathedral. In the afternoon we return to Cornwall.
