The capital city of London is a much loved and iconic place to visit. It has a range of world class attractions and famous sights to enjoy. We take time to explore the highlights of this vibrant city and experience some of its more traditional attractions.
Itinerary
Traditional London Itinerary
Monday We leave Cornwall in the morning and make our way to London. There will be a break for lunch on the way and we arrive at the Holiday Inn Shepperton later in the afternoon.
Tuesday to Thursday During the next three days we include the following attractions:
Buckingham Palace – The official London residence of the Queen. Visit the magnificent State Rooms, lavishly furnished with items from the Royal Collection.
Houses of Parliament – A guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, the Chamber of the House of Lords, the House of Commons and Westminster Hall.
River Thames Cruise – We board at Westminster Pier for a delightful ninety-minute cruise west to Kew Gardens.
Kew Gardens – A wild botanic garden, with five hundred acres of woodland and the world’s largest seed conservation project.
St Paul’s Cathedral – Step into this famous landmark for a guided tour to discover its history and beauty from the seventeenth century.
There will also be some time to enjoy exploring your favourite areas.
Friday After breakfast we travel to Windsor where there is time to see the main sights of this Royal town. After an early lunch we make the journey home.
