After a wonderful Christmas, join us to relax and enjoy a few days of fun and entertainment before the New Year begins. This tour is based on the beautiful south coast in the popular seaside town of Torquay and we enjoy a visit to one of the areas most impressive natural attractions.
Itinerary
Twixmas in Torquay Itinerary
Sunday Leaving Cornwall in the morning we travel to Torquay enjoying a leisurely lunch break on the way. After dinner we enjoy our first evening of entertainment.
Monday Today is at leisure to make the most of the daytime activities and leisure facilities at our hotel. Alternatively, explore the heart of Torquay town or the glorious seafront and parks. This evening, dinner will be followed by entertainment.
Tuesday We begin our day with a morning visit to the nearby town of Paignton. There will be time for coffee and perhaps a walk along the promenade before a visit to Kents Caverns. Here we enjoy a lunch of soup and sandwiches followed by admission to the extensive labyrinth of caverns. We will be surrounded by 400 million-year-old rocks and spectacular stalagmites and stalactites.
Wednesday After breakfast we leave Torquay and begin our journey home. We break for lunch in the lovely city of Exeter and travel back to Cornwall in the afternoon.
