Itinerary
Idyllic Sidmouth Itinerary
Tuesday Leaving Cornwall in the morning we travel to Devon enjoying a lunch break on the way. We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Wednesday This morning we head to the lovely town of Exmouth where the majestic River Exe meets the sea. We begin with a circular cruise to enjoy the stunning scenery, wildlife and nature of the Exe Estuary. There will be time to have lunch in the lovely town before a short afternoon visit to the quaint estuary port of Topsham.
Thursday A leisurely day to enjoy the regency town of Sidmouth. Stroll along the promenade and take in the timeless charm of the town.
Friday We head along the dramatic Jurassic Coast today and our first stop is the town of Lyme Regis. Popular with fossil hunters, it has a fascinating history and picturesque harbour. Later we move on to the Seaton Tramway, where we board a narrow gauge heritage tram at Colyford to travel to Seaton. There will be time for refreshments before returning to our hotel.
Saturday After breakfast we begin our journey home via scenic Dartmoor and the lovely town of Tavistock. We return to Cornwall later in the afternoon.
